Service Technician Assistant - Pools and Spas - St. Lawrence Pools Ltd.

Service Tech Assistants assist the Service Technician with completing on-site services for our clients. The candidate will work with the service tech on a daily basis to assist them in repair and maintenance of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas and spas. Goal is working to become a certified Service Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist Tech with the following:

• Logging and reporting on scheduled daily work orders
• Troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, service chlorine pumps and check condition of pool, sauna and hot tub equipment
• Repair and installation of pool, sauna and hot tub equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation requirements
• Opening and closing of swimming pools

SKILLS

• Customer service experience
• Previous pool/trade experience and pool equipment knowledge is an asset
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Valid G Drivers License required with clean drivers abstract
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instruction/procedures/product manuals
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• During busy season may be required to work long hours and/or 6 days a week
• Working indoors and outdoors
• Training provided
• Safety footwear is required
• Drivers License
