  • Physiotherapist - Part Time, Permanent 

    The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital is a fully accredited acute care health care organization located on two state-of-the-art sites.  The hospital is situated in the heart of the Rideau Canal region and proudly provides health services to more than 60,000+ people in the surrounding communities. 

    Physiotherapist

    Permanent Part Time and Temporary Part Time

    The Physiotherapist provides preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic services aimed at restoring function and preventing disability arising from disease, trauma or injury within the scope of the Standards of Practice for Physiotherapy (as established by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario).

    Follows all workplace H&S policies and procedures; wears and uses personal protective equipment; ensures deliverance of a clean and safe physical/psychological environment for patients, visitors and staff and reports workplace hazards and concerns.


    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • University degree in Physiotherapy
    • Member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Must be rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to work with Physiotherapy assistants

     

    ASSETS:

    • Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

     

    PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 1 year hospital experience preferred.
