    Who We Are:

    Tri-County Community Support Services (TCCSS) is a FOCUS Accredited developmental services agency that provides specialized supports and services for individuals, families and service providers that contribute to the social inclusion and quality of life of persons with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

    Where We Live and Work:

    Located in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Ontario is an hour and a half drive East from Toronto, Ontario. Our population is 75,000 and growing, we have lots of local businesses and a strong arts and entertainment culture. There is Trent University and Fleming College in our area as well as many new and growing businesses. We are similar to the Muskoka Lakes region with all of our natural beauty, green outdoor space and tranquil waterways.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • We are looking for a full-time Instructor Therapist to join our Ontario Autism Program (OAP) team to:
    • Provide direct one-to-one and small group teaching to children/youth with ASD using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in a variety of settings, including clinic-based and home-based locations.
    • Prepare creative and engaging teaching materials.
    • Accurately monitor the learner’s progress and program effectiveness through data collection.
    • Participate in treatment planning and reporting under the supervision of Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
    • Attend weekly team meetings.


    What you bring to our team:

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., autism and behavioural science, psychology, early childhood education).
    • Previous experience working with children or youth with autism is considered an asset.
    • Eagerness to participate in and successfully complete a comprehensive training program.
    • A willingness to accept ongoing feedback for continuous professional development.
    • Travel may be required for this position; the successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
