    OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

    ATLAS Foods, a division of CTS Foods and leader in food distribution in Ottawa, is expanding and we are looking for a dynamic sales representative with experience in the food industry to service Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

    Average on-target earnings (base+commission+bonus) is $65,000.00. Uncapped commission.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be a key player in the execution of our sales plans through customer service, selling, merchandising, shelving and managing distribution in a specifically assigned territory.
    • Optimizing the in-store environment, influence consumer-purchasing behaviors while generating incremental profitable sales.
    • Utilize selling tools and market information to secure new product distribution; selling-in major seasonal promotions; presenting cross-merchandising ideas and identifying other opportunities for new business development.
    • Sell and execute corporate promotions and customer-specific marketing programs to enhance CTS in-store presence and overall client relations.
    • Leveraging your knowledge of CTS and the customer's key financial measures, you will be fully accountable for delivering sales and profit objectives in your assigned territory.
    • Working with management you, account manager, will develop and execute annual business plans including customer assessments, monthly forecasts, quarterly business review, and retail opportunities.
    • Provide feedback on performance of shelving/merchandising programs and recommend course-correction actions.
    • Look after existing and established route of customers.

    Requirements

    • Experience in the Food /Distribution Industry (Deli, Cheese, and Grocery) an asset
    • Experience working with chains stores
    • Passion for sales, merchandising and customer service
    • Bilingualism (French/English written & spoken) a must
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal one on one with customers effectively
    • Strong drive for results and customer focus
    • Intermediate Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as account executive.

    Salary: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
