• Book Keeper


    AudioConexus, a leading Media and Entertainment Company working in the tourism industry, ( requires a Book Keeper to manage all day-to-day accounting requirements, in adherence with the company’s financial plans and policies as well as accounting practices. AudioConexus Inc.’s external accounting firm, who has the responsibility of completing all year-end accounting requirements and taxes, will provide external support for this position.

    Critical to this position is a strong proficiency in QuickBooks as well as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook. Previous education as well as experience and proficiency are required with general accounting, cost accounting, inventory and multi-currency transactions from international clients and suppliers.

    Job tasks

    • Enter bills, expense reports and payments; write cheques
    • Create invoices, post cash receipts and deposits
    • Follow up on collection of outstanding accounts receivable
    • Track milestone payments for timely delivery of client invoices and AP
    • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
    • Reconcile deferred Revenue, prepaid expenses and prepaid inventory accounts
    • Provide financial reports monthly and as requested
    • Provide information to the external accounting firm as requested
    • Maintain an orderly Accounting filing system
    • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

    Education and experience

    • Minimum 3-years of experience in an accounting position
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Knowledge of finance principles and reporting
    • Previous experience with general accounting as well as cost accounting
    • Previous experience with inventory and multi-currency
    • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in relevant software
    • QuickBooks
