    COURSE AVAILABLE ANYTIME - NO START OR END DATE Online Safe Food Handler's Training/Certification Course. This online certification seminar is recognized throughout Ontario as meeting the food service training standards of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Learn essential food safety skills with focus on food-borne illness causes and prevention methods. Recommended for anyone that serves food to others. Headphones and computer access provided by St. Lawrence College Employment Service. Depending on the individual, the course takes approximately 6 hours to complete. The course is a combination of narrated videos, an online manual, quizzes, and a final multiple choice test. Successful candidates receive a five-year Safe Food Service Certificate in full page and wallet size. Call us at (613) 545-3949 ext 3 to register. Flexible start and end times.     Participants will receive instruction on personal protective equipment, practices and procedures, flagging, legislation, positioning and communicating with the motoring public and work crews. Working conditions, traffic situations, struck-by hazards and night work are also discussed. Students will spend time in the classroom as well as outdoors practicing in a mock traffic set-up.
