What you will do:

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to enhance the well-being of the individuals and communities we serve. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing interview packages, communicating with candidates, and supporting onboarding activities.

• Provide first-line customer service by responding to general HR inquiries from employees, applicants, and the public; triage and escalate issues as needed.

• Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring accurate and confidential handling of employee information, personnel files, training records, and documentation received through the HR inbox.

• Process HR documents, including change forms, accommodation requests, training certificates, and employment-related correspondence, routing items to the appropriate HR team member.

• Provide administrative support for HR programs such as recognition initiatives and wellness events.

What you will bring:

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for helping people live their best lives and brings:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• CHRP designation or actively working toward completion is considered an asset

• Two (2) years’ relevant experience

• Understanding of HR policies and legislative frameworks

• Positive, proactive, approachable, and professional demeanor, with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion

• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn HR systems & tools

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and work independently

• Satisfactory attendance record, subject to the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code
