About Us

Located in picturesque Gananoque, the Thousand Islands Boat Museum engages visitors with the special traditions and culture found along the Canadian shores of the St. Lawrence River. From adventures on the river in antique boats to dynamic in-water displays, the TIBM brings the river to life by telling stories through boats. Local marine heritage gets showcases in a whole new way in the recently completed $4.5 million dollar Boathouse, where visitors can experience river life through lively exploration.
