About Us

Founded in 1921, the CSN is a trade union organization that works for a society that is supportive, democratic, fair, equitable and sustainable. It is made up of nearly 1,600 unions and includes more than 320,000 workers who are represented on a sectoral or professional basis in eight federations, as well as on a regional basis in thirteen central councils, mainly in Quebec, but also throughout Canada.
