Covanta Durham York is located in Courtice, Ontario. We are the operators of the Durham York Energy Centre;  one of the newest Waste-to-Energy facilities in North America. The Facility is owned by the regional municipalities of Durham and York and serves residents with reliable and sustainable waste management.As the facility operator, not only do we keep waste out of landfills, we are committed to maximizing safety and minimizing environmental impacts.
