About Us

A not-for-profit community museum in rural North Glengarry. The museum has been in existence since 1962 and has grown to include 10 historic buildings and a large collection of artifacts. The museum hosts many public events from May until October. There are over 150 volunteers that help plan and implement events, but the small staff, including seasonal summer students do a lot of administrative work and planning to help with programming. The museum also hosts school groups, bus tours, and other drop-in tourists to the region.
