About Us

FarmForest Research Inc. is a contract research company serving the international and Canadian agricultural community. We have an academic and pragmatic approach which differentiates us from other research organizations. In Canada we have helped develop solutions that are both sustainable and safe for both farmers and consumers. We are recognized experts in the field of bio-solutions for crop production and crop protection. We serve many Canadian customers from all areas of Canada, but carry out all of our research at our facilities and farms in Ontario. We carry out complex fundamental crop trials to test the efficiency of new crop protection and production products in the Ottawa Valley and have just purchased a new research farm near Elgin to augment our 8000 sq ft research greenhouse located near Westport, Ontario. With the increase by consumers for organic and sustainable food we have increased our capacity to carry out research on organic farming systems and technologies. We pride ourself on developing new technologies to ensure a safe supply of food to Canadians.
