About Us

The Northern way is a seasonal fly in hunting and fishing resort located on Esnagi lake in Northern Ontario, we offer world class trophy fishing and 5 star dining to guests from all over the world. Our guests arrive either by plane by way of Hawk Air located in Wawa Ontario, or by the Via rail train in White river. As one of our valued staff members you will also come in by train from White River to your stop at Swanson, where we will greet you and help load your things on to our barge. You'll get to enjoy a beautiful boat ride in while you get to know some of your co-workers, and before you know it you'll arrive at your new home away from home. This is a unique place to work as not only are we all co-workers but also neighbors, and you will have your own room in a staff cabin. On top of housing and wifi , all your food is provided for by the lodge. We serve our staff the same meals as our guests because at The Northern Way our staff is #1. We can't do what we do with out them and we want to make sure you know how valued you really are. All training is provided and creativity is always welcomed.
