For this position, we are looking for someone who could ideally perform the following tasks:
  • General office management responsibilities, including organizing files, generating reports, and handling spreadsheets.
  • Help handling accounting functions, AP/AR management and reconciliation, bookkeeping entries
  • Prepare invoices, manage PO/WO generated, enter and sort payables, prepare cheques
  • Support HR management, payroll, group benefit program, holidays, and time-sheets
  • Maintain customer and employees records
  • Answer phone, screen and direct calls, process incoming/outgoing mail and courier
  • Maintain policies and procedure manuals and files
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Participate on committees and special events planning
  • Participate on marketing and social media presence

This is a full-time position, regular office hours. A minimum of 3 years in office management and/or bookkeeping support is required. The applicant must be able to meet the physical demands of this position. Ability to multi-task and good problem solving skills are necessary. We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and dependable person. Your main work site is at our 759 Progress Avenue facility, in Kingston.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum requirement is college graduate (Business Administration), preferably with formal training in accounting
  •  Solid background in bookkeeping is essential, with working experience with Simply Accounting (Sage 50) software, as well as strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Solid organizational skills are essential, attention to details, as well as above average communication skills.
  • We are looking for a team player who displays a positive attitude and is passionate about their work. 
  •  The candidate must be personable, professional, and must have the ability to multitask.
