General mandate:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will act as the subject matter expert for the company’s software solution and will be responsible for facilitating sales demonstrations, business partner training, and detailed virtual training programs for new and existing customers. The successful candidate will have expertise in software from an end-user perspective and be able to use this information to inspire customers to leverage the Fleet Complete solution to its full potential. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for educating and selling the advanced features of the software, with the goal of increasing customer adoption of the applications and ensuring the long-term success of the organization. The RSM will report to the Senior Sales Manager.

What we are looking for

  • Ability to effectively demonstrate the Fleet Complete application.
  • Measured success and proven experience in the field of B2B sales.
  • Experience in selling to independent distributors and B2B SMEs.
  • In-depth knowledge of application development technologies using client/server applications, web applications and distributed applications.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Channel Experience — Strong ability to create, influence and motivate channel business partners.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of computer applications and IT operations.
  • Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate dedication.
  • Solid knowledge of the transport sector.

Your role will include the following tasks.

  • Organize online sales demonstrations for potential customers.
  • Promote our product to our distribution partners — build trust, inspire and motivate them to sell our product over others.
  • Build partner relationships through in-person training, strategic planning and sales strategies to advance Fleet Complete sales
  • Provide training to sales network partners to improve the level of knowledge of sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate an ability to relate to customers, both technically and non-technically, regarding their specific requirements.
  • Demonstrate a high level of comfort in all customer contact situations.
  • Work in tandem with our distribution partners for new and existing customers to book enhanced product and application training.
  • Assist in customer support, as well as resolving customer issues as necessary.
  • Assistance to local distributors for sales opportunities in a given region.
  • Present Fleet Complete to potential customers by effectively addressing and positioning customer requirements.
  • Develop productive business relationships with key personnel at the local supplier level in a given region.
  • Resolve any issues with customers or the local supplier’s sales channel.
  • Organize regular meetings with local supplier sales staff.

We would like you to have the following items.

  • Experience in wireless and GPS is an asset.
  • Experience in channel selling and selling to a vendor is desired.
  • Software sales/training experience is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the telematics sector.
  • Excellent command of oral and written skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and dynamism.
  • University degree in business, management information systems, computer science or related field preferred.
