RPN or RT - Medical Tree Inc

Looking to learn and upgrade your skills? Congenial, small, single physician office, under the umbrella of Medical Tree, looking for a friendly, honest RPN or RT who is eager to learn and who is quick to pick up new skills. We are searching for someone who likes to have the freedom to work independently, yet is not afraid to ask for help and is still a team player. Experience with giving allergy shots and experience with an electronic medical record (especially Telus PS Suites) are assets.

Details:

• PN or RT Full Time Maternity Leave Position About 12-18 months. Mon to Thurs every 2nd Friday 9am to 4 pm
• Starting Approximately Mid March 2025

Duties:

• Subcutaneous injections: Allergy shots
• Intradermal testing
• Prick skin testing
• Patch testing
• Spirometry
• Administering food/drug challenges including doing vitals and being prepared to treat for anaphylaxis
• Being able to do an IV in an emergency an asset
• Able to administer anaphylaxis treatment
• Comfortable doing dilutions for skin testing
• Check work email multiple times daily
• Inform patients re. blood/lab/imaging results
• Patient education including teaching re. epinephrine auto-injectors, asthma inhalers, nose sprays, immunotherapy, allergy biologics
• Proofreading letters to send to referring doctors
• Supply ordering and re-stocking room

Must have proof of immunization and RPN or RT license
