The GIS Summer Student will be responsible for the collection and entry of spatial and attribute data into the County of Frontenac’s geographic information system. Tasks will include field data collection, data entry, on-screen digitizing and the quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of data collected and received. The student will have the opportunity to create both digital and physical mapping products and reports. In addition, they will assist with special projects in support of County and Township initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled or a graduate of a GIS-related college or university program or other related relevant education is required
