As a Community Organizer, you will coordinate resources to support community development and lead impactful partnership programs and events, including summer camp initiatives. This role focuses on fostering engagement, teamwork, and innovation to create meaningful opportunities for the community while ensuring a positive and encouraging environment for stakeholders to thrive.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Facilitating Educational Events: Organize and lead engaging educational programs, such as public speaking workshops, LEGO robotic sessions, or summer camp activities, delivered either in-person or virtually.

Community Outreach: Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, such as schools and libraries, to expand program outreach and attract new members to our initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in diverse projects across different fields, including community development, business development, teaching, and curriculum design, to gain varied experiences and contribute to organizational growth.

Team Coordination: Support educational programs and events by working collaboratively within a team of 3-5 peers, sharing responsibilities, resources, and plans, and presenting deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.

Digital Tools Proficiency: Use tools like Slack and Canva to streamline communication, document daily progress, and share weekly updates within the department while brainstorming and exchanging ideas with the team.

Social Media Engagement: Utilize platforms such as Instagram to engage with followers, promote programs, and share organizational updates to enhance community connection and visibility.

Content Creation and Promotion: Create and distribute digital content using Google Workspace and Canva to effectively promote community programs and organizational initiatives.
