Web Developer - Canadian Cleaning Services & Sales

We are looking for someone to upgrade and help redesign our current Wordpress website. Previous experience an asset. An understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to integrate them required. Ideally the candidate would have good communication skills, be reliable and dependable. The job could be done remotely with regular meetings held in Kingston for updates.

We are local, 2nd generation family owned commercial cleaning company servicing the Kingston, Napanee, Belleville area. We are an eco-friendly cleaning company. What you will do:

• Select programming languages, design tools, or applications.
• Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
• Maintain understanding of current Web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
• Recommend and implement performance improvements.
• Document test plans, testing procedures, or test results.

• Web platform development software: Adobe Systems Adobe Flex, AJAX, Zend Framework, PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, Spring Framework
• Development environment software: Eclipse IDE, Microsoft PowerShell, Apache Maven, Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition VBScript
