Bakers - Grains & Goods Bakery

Mix and bake ingredients to produce breads and other baked goods.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside head baker and other staff
• Prepare items from scratch, proof dough
• Use of organic, high-quality ingredients
• Light cleaning duties, sweep and mop floors, dishes
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (bags of flours, bowls of dough)
• Can be hot working conditions
• Ensure quality of product meets bakery standards, attention to details
• Early morning hours part of regular work - start time between 4am and 7am

Experience/Training Required:

• Safe Food Handler course
• Interest in and passion for quality food
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Familiar in a commercial kitchen or baking environment
• Can meet deadlines, high pressure
