About this opportunity:
Work schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 Day remote)
Internship Term: 4-8 Months, starting June/ July 2025
As a Project Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of technical projects and initiatives in our Capital Projects team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project engineering within a fast-paced cleantech environment and work on impactful initiatives contributing to our growth and sustainability goals.
What you will be doing:
- Document findings and assist in preparing technical reports for both internal teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, findings, and any challenges encountered.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar).
- Support the preparation and organization of project status reports and dashboards.
- Assist in writing and organizing commissioning documents, including checklists, test procedures, and sign-off forms.
We seek an assortment of skills that would include all or a mix of the following:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering.
- Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and handle complex materials in a manufacturing/ construction environment.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Project; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools is a plus.
- Experience with project management tools or data visualization software (e.g., Power BI) is an asset.
