Small Engine/ Marine Mechanic - L.D. Powersports

Come join our team! This is a seasonal position with potential for permanent Full-Time.

Job Description:

• Service and repair outdoor power equipment such as; lawnmowers, grass trimmers, garden tractors, chainsaws, snow blowers and portable generators
• Service and repair all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles
• Service and repair outboard motors
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and fuel issues using diagnostic equipment
• Interpret computerized unit diagrams and service manuals
• Create work orders listing service time and parts needed to complete the requested repair
• Un-crate, assemble and inspect products offered for sale

• Ability to handle interruptions while servicing units
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Aptitude of determining the tools and equipment needed to complete the job
• Great communicator – ability to effectively communicates with customers and other staff
• Organized - manages jobs and duties without letting anything fall behind
• Have attention to detail in completing tasks
• Commitment to being reliable, responsible and dependable

Worker Characteristics:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience
• Valid Ontario Drivers License
• Ability to drive/ park a trailer
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, kneel and push when necessary
