Veterinary Assistant - Princess and Downtown Animal Hospitals

Are you passionate about animals and people? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Princess Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant with top-notch customer service skills and a genuine love for animal care to join our awesome team!

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Greeting clients and welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answering phones, responding to emails and texts in a timely, client-focused manner
• Accurately writing and updating medical records
• Feeding, watering, exercising, and administering medications to patients as needed
• Cleaning and stocking exam rooms, surgery suites, and dental areas
• Doing laundry 
• Safely and confidently assisting in restraining animals for procedures
• Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
• Keeping cages and kennels clean and sanitized
• Taking on any other duties as assigned by management (we're a team, we help where help is needed)

 What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who loves animals but also knows the importance of client service
• A team player who can roll with all that comes in a busy practice
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude

Previous experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person
