Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. Our growing team provides quality early intervention services to children from birth – 5 years of age throughout the Yukon. Relocation allowance of up to $2000 is available.

Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing therapy plans focused on communication with individual clients and/or in a group setting, under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist
- Collecting data and completing screens as requested
- Working with a team, including family members and Child Development Centre staff
- Maintaining documentation and other administrative duties as requested
- Assisting in the preparation, organization and maintenance of resources
Qualifications:
- Communication Disorders Assistant Diploma, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Diploma, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program (e.g., Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, Linguistics, Psychology, etc.)
- A combination of relevant work experience and education in a related field
- Experience working with young children is an asset
- Experience working in a cross-cultural setting
This position is covered by the Public Service Alliance of Canada Collective Agreement.
