Kingston Dementia Homecare Services Inc. (KDHS) is looking for knowledgeable, reliable, and caring staff to join our team in Kingston, and surrounding areas. We hire PSWs, Social Service Workers, Recreation, Behavioural Science Technologists, Dementia Care Workers and other health care professionals to provide in home services for seniors and others needing personal assistance, respite and companionship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time; Evening and Weekend availability a must

Salary: $20/hour for probationary period (3 months)

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years working with those living with a dementia
• Post secondary education in health care field
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Clean Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Up to date CPR/First Aid
• Additional certificates such as U-First!, Gentle Persuasive Approach, etc an asset
• You are a Canadian citizen, a permanent or a temporary resident of Canada or you have a valid Canadian work permit.
• Ability to provide required COVID test results as per Public Health guidelines
