Looking for bookkeeping and administrative assistant help on a casual basis. Only a few hours a month but could lead into more. Would be great for a person who has started their own business or is looking for some extra income in addition to their other work.
This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with administrative tasks like updating spreadsheets, managing schedules and correspondence. The specific duties can vary, but generally include bookkeeping, data entry, and general administrative support.
Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Financial Records: Keeping track of all financial transactions, including income and expenses, using manual and computerized systems.
- Posting Journal Entries: Recording financial transactions accurately and systematically.
- Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring that bank statements and other financial records match.
- Record Keeping: Organizing and maintaining both digital and physical files.
- Data Entry: Entering information into databases and spreadsheets.
General Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial in both bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in accounting software: Experience with programs like Sage 50.
