We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will
possess a strong background in appliance repair and have the ability to troubleshoot
various household appliances. This role requires mechanical knowledge, excellent
customer service skills, and the capability to work independently in the field. As an
Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs,
and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Pay: CA$17.91 - CA$21.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time to eventually Full-time
Location: Brockville, Prescott, or Kemptville, ON
Work Location: On the road

Duties

• Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes.
• Assist with assembly of appliances when required.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician in the field.
• Have a reliable, working vehicle for mobile appointments.
• Ideally up to 2 years of previous experience as an appliance repair technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems and household appliances is essential.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Electrical experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
