Temporary Contract - Full time RECE - Lamplighter Preschool

We are looking for an honest, fun, ‘not afraid to get down and dirty and play’. We are in need of an energetic, enthusiastic and creative graduate to be a part of our Team. The candidate must show initiative, be caring, compassionate, give input at staff meetings, be flexible to any changes in shifts and routine. This Candidate must have positive and good communication skills (written/verbal) towards the children, parents, and their co-workers.

The chosen Candidate will be flexible with shift rotation with their co-workers, be involved with program planning and implementing with all skill developments like fine/gross & speech/language skills etc in mind and assist with documenting. Assist with any goal plans for children with special needs, adhere to all policies/procedures and allergy postings.

The chosen Candidate must be willing to keep up to date with the current ECE trends and attend workshops when available to maintain professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• RECE (preferred) in good standings with the College of ECE 
• Knowledge of the CCEYA 
• Current VSC (less than 6 months old) 
• Standard First Aid, CPR Level C 
• Immunizations up-to-date

While RECE is preferred, we will consider graduates of DSW, PSW, CYW as well.

STARTING DATE: ASAP to the right candidate - Infant room

END DATE: estimated 27 weeks BUT to be determined.

HOURS OF WORK: up to 40/wk.

RATE OF PAY (*yearly increases): RECE - (including any grants) $27.00. Non RECE* - (including any grants) $22.90
