Campus Recreation and Fitness Coordinator - St. Lawrence College

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of a 2-year diploma or equivalent in Sports Administration, Fitness & Health Promotions, Recreation & Leisure, Kinesiology, Physical Education and/or relevant professional experience in sport deemed to be equivalent. 
• Current certification in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). 
• A valid class G driver’s license. 
• A certified Personal Trainer or equivalent certification(s) through Ontario Fitness Council.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a post-secondary and/or education environment. 
• Experience coordinating recreation, wellness and fitness programming and events.

Other Required Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of common computer software
• Communication skills
• Planning and coordination skills
• Time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Critical thinking/evaluation skills

Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:

The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.

Salary & Terms

• Support Group: Pay Band H
• Hours per week: 35
• Start Rate: $36.29/hour
