Employment Conditions: In office/shop, Monday to Friday (Days)
Regular Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Anticipated Start Date: December 2025
Salary: $22.50 - $25.00/hr

Your Role:

Bring innovative electrical systems to life as a Panel Builder! In this hands-on role, you’ll:

Fit motor starters, circuit breakers, and control devices into custom made panels and switchboards

  • Wire PLCs and advanced electrical equipment with precision
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure top performance
  • Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Keep the workshop sharp and efficient
  • Support shipping, receiving, and shop documentation to keep on schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Use of standard panel shop hand and power tools
  • Relevant work experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience That Will Put You Ahead:

  • Ability to detail electrical systems and components from engineering sketches
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Registered apprentice or licensed electrician
  • Experience building electrical panels
  • Experience with industrial control systems
  • Experience with marine control systems
  • Forklift certification
  • 3D drafting

Licenses:

Valid driver’s license (G2 or G)
