Technical skills & experience we'd love to see:

  • Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams
  • Google Workspace
  • Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Firewalls and VPNs
  • iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets
  • Remote access tools used for tech support
  • Scripting and command line
  • Practical experience installing, upgrading and troubleshooting Operating Systems:
  • Windows 10
  • Windows Server 2012R2 to 2019
  • OS X 10.8 to MacOS 11
  • Experience installing and removing software from these platforms
  • Thorough knowledge of these subjects:
  • Networking, DNS, DHCP, Routing
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • AD - both on-premise and cloud based
  • Security, MFA, Password Vaults, Data Privacy
  • Effective research techniques
  • Practical experience with hardware:
  • Troubleshooting computer hardware issues
  • Printer setup and troubleshooting
  • UPS sizing, installation, maintenance
  • Installing and configuring Wi-Fi networks
  • Ethernet wiring - fault detection, termination and cable management
  • Installing, replacing hard drives, RAM, Power supplies

Other technical skills and experience will be considered an asset. Vendor and Industry Certifications are valued; however, a technician who is self-taught and has extensive experience and skill is still welcome to apply for this position.

Other Requirements:

  • Preferred 3 years of work experience in the IT field.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Able to type at least 25 words per minute.

Compensation:

  • Pay range is $20.00 - $26.00 an hour.
  • Pay will be commensurate with education and experience.
  • This is a full-time position in-office position.
  • Full benefits package.

References:

  • Proof of Vendor and Industry Certifications.
  • References must be provided and will be checked.
  • Must be able to pass a police background check (CPIC)
