Prince Edward Animal Hospital is looking for Veterinary Technicians, new grads welcome! 

We are a busy two veterinarian practice looking to hire a part-time or full-time veterinary technician. We are looking for someone that is flexible and a team player. We have a wide variety of exciting cases. Experience working in a clinic is preferred but not required.

What you will do: 

  • Xrays, 
  • Anesthesia, 
  • Maintain records, 
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals, 
  • Perform diagnostics tests such as xrays, 
  • Blood taking, 
  • Laboratory procedures, 
  • Assist in surgery, 
  • Perform routine dentals, 
  • Educate clients, 
  • Handle animals 

Technical Skills:

  • Digital xrays, 
  • Digital dental xray machine, 
  • Dental equipment, 
  • Anesthetics and monitoring systems
