General Labourer - Farlane Homes

General Labourer 

The General Labourer will be supporting the construction sites for new home builds and renovations. Tasks include physical labour and will require the ability to operate a variety of hand tools. 

Job details:

Location – Gananoque, Brockville, and Kingston area, Ontario

Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 2:30pm Friday

Job Duties:

• bolt, screw, clip, caulk, saw and other construction duties
• load and unload materials
• other duties as assigned
• follow current safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

• experience or ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• ability to bend, crouch and lift items as required, up to 50lbs.
• attention to detail.
• ability to read and write.
• ability to work independently or as part of a team completing assigned activities according to the production schedule.
• commitment to product quality and safety.
• requires good manual dexterity. (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
• able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• basic mathematical skills.
• respect diversity - treat others with respect.
• must have reliable transportation.
• willing to work overtime as required, either early or late.
• safety footwear.
