Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has launched our Summer 2026 student job postings. We are hiring for a variety of student positions across Ontario, including Co-Op, Skilled Trades, and Non-Co-Op (Renewable Generation) roles.

About our Current Opportunities:

Co-Op Positions: For students seeking work experience related to their field of study. Candidates will be matched with OPG managers in their discipline. Job descriptions are broad; specific duties will be discussed if selected for an interview.

Skilled Trades Positions: For students in skilled trades programs, offering hands-on experience at OPG locations throughout Ontario. As with Co-Op roles, duties will be tailored to each placement and clarified during the interview process.

Renewable Generation (Non-Co-Op) Positions: Open to students from any academic background, these roles provide seasonal summer employment at remote hydroelectric or thermal power stations. Tasks may include groundskeeping, janitorial, or administrative work and are not tied to a specific program of study.
