Position Overview

As a Mobile Electric Appliance Technician, you’ll diagnose and repair a wide range of residential electric appliances while serving customers throughout Brockville, Gananoque, Cardinal, and nearby communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and electric ovens
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs safely and accurately
• Assemble appliances or components when required for installation or repair
• Clearly explain repair findings, options, and recommendations to customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs completed, and parts used
• Work independently while collaborating with the wider technician team

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in electric appliance repair or a related service technician role
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuits (preferred)
• Experience with refrigeration systems and household appliances is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working as a mobile technician
