Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of a recognized Canadian RN program
• Valid CNO license
• Must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Must be willing to travel within Lanark County
• You must be available to work all shifts and every other weekend

Duties

• Medication dispensary
• Assist with resident treatments
• Assist with preparation for MD rounds
• Assist with paperwork preparation (Bloodwork/samples)
• Assist with liaising between family and MD Assist with liaising between all staff and ADOC/DOC
• Attend any education/in-service, multi-D meetings
• Answer any call bells
• Provide guidance and assistance to PSWs and RPNs
• Ensure all staff are following health and safety procedures
• Assist with filling sick calls
• Assist with any emergency, resident or home related
• Charting on PCC – must be completed prior to shift end
• Surveillance of residents
• Updating care plans
• Preparing reports for doctors
• Assist with other duties assigned by the home
