About the Role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll work with medical tubing sets used in advanced diagnostic imaging systems. This role is perfect for Canadian residents, local youth, and recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in medical device manufacturing.

You’ll learn Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), develop precision assembly skills, and work in a high-tech ISO Level 7 cleanroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, inspect, and package medical devices.
  • Use simple hand tools and fixtures to handle small parts.
  • Operate robotic and automated production equipment.
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards in a cleanroom (full PPE provided).
  • Complete documentation accurately and follow GMP protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, professional environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Currently authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise eligible).
  • Resides in or near Kingston, Ontario, with reliable transportation to commute to work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a post-secondary diploma, college certificate, or equivalent training.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and use basic tools (training provided).
  • Experience in a laboratory or technical setting is an asset.
  • Great fit for students, new grads, or early-career individuals interested in medical technology.
Work Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday

- Evening Shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

- Overnight Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

Note: Shift hours may be adjusted based on business needs, with appropriate notice provided to employees.

Location: Kingston, Ontario (in-person only)

Compensation: $19.00–$22.00/hour (based on experience)

Contract Length: 6 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement

Work Authorization: Applicants must already be eligible to work in Canada.
