The Frontenac Club is currently looking for a dishwasher/prep cook. We are a very small kitchen, so the position that we are looking to fill is very unique. We are currently looking for someone who can be a dishwasher on busier nights and help with prep before dinner service. Once we open up to 7 days a week in June, we are also looking for someone who can make charcuterie boards, do some prep, and close up the dishpit on the days off of the main kitchen staff. The Bank Gastrobar at the Frontenac Club is seeking a Kitchen Team Member who is flexible, willing to learn and looking for growth. We are a very small kitchen, so the person and position that we are looking to fill are both unique. The incumbent in this position has been promoted - you could be next!!

The role is to be the kitchen jack-knife; able to do prep work, act as steward and able to support weddings and event service. Our kitchen is lively and social and our relationship with the service team is close and collaborative. If you like to multi-task, learn on the job, and can balance working independently and as a team member, then we have a role for you.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about great food and has some experience in the kitchen environment. Formal training, safe food handling and a proven track record for safety are all great assets for any applicant.

Responsibilities:

o Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils

o Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and other food preparation areas

o Assist chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks as needed

o Manage and organize inventory and supplies

o Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant

Requirements:

o Prior experience in the restaurant industry is preferred

o Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude

o Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

o Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
