HAS-Motion is looking for an Internal Applications Developer! This is an opportunity for you to join a research-oriented software company, help build and maintain the company’s Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, and meet internal needs while responding to customer requirements.

As an Internal Applications Developer at HAS-Motion, you will work primarily with our CRM system which includes both databases and a web-based interface. Working with the President and the CRM Administrator, you will learn the company’s internal systems and structures with a goal of ensuring that our CRM supports company operations. You will update and support the current data infrastructure while also having the opportunity to extend the CRM system’s capabilities.

In this position you will:

  • Manage the existing CRM system;
  • Manage the existing databases in the CRM system and develop new databases where necessary;
  • Specify and program new features in the CRM system to increase analytics and ease of access;
  • Manage the back-end of a customer-focused wiki documentation site;
  • Identify and implement data analysis features and visualizations; and
  • Any other task as appropriate.

We are looking for an applicant who is:

  • Experienced with PHP, MySQL and JavaScript;
  • Experienced with Codeigniter (ideally) or either Laravel or CakePHP
  • Familiar with the Domain Name System and basic web security;
  • Familiar with Bootstrap5, Ajax, and jQuery libraries/frameworks;
  • Familiar with Wordpress;
  • Familiar with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) paradigm;
  • Understands database design and development; and
  • Able to manage a DokuWiki-based website.
