The Naval Marine Archive - The Canadian Collection is a totally unique library, archive and cultural collection of over 350,000 publicly catalogued items. Our holdings constitute the largest grouping of naval and marine titles in a single building anywhere in Canada, augmented with a growing number of aviation titles.
We are seeking an Assistant Curator to join our team. This is a summer time position and you can learn more about The Naval Marine Archive by visiting our website.
What you will do in this role:
Learning teamwork in a cultural resource centre, library and art gallery.
- Assisting management in promoting visual and written literacy
- Assisting with exhibitions, the website and other audio and video material and social media updates
- Assisting with outreach and programs.
