Our client, a successful mid-sized manufacturing company has an opening for a Human Resources Manager. The position reports to the President and is a key member of the leadership team providing support to the employees and the leaders. This role oversee a wide range of interesting day-to-day HR function for a collaborative hands-on HR professional in a non-union environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for HR activities - develop and ensure compliance with company policies, payroll and benefits administration, address employee inquiries, records, new hires, assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and training delivery oversight.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and new hire orientations.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Foster and maintain a respectful, collaborative workplace culture.
- Lead the performance evaluation process by providing feedback, training and coaching.
- Support managers with talent management, training, and employee development.
- Stay current with HR best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging HR technologies.
- Prepare and distribute employee communications, including policy updates and announcements.
- Foster employee engagement through effective communication and recognition program initiatives.
Hours of Work: 9-5.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience and CHRL designation an asset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proven negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Maintains confidentiality and instills trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an action-oriented approach.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
