As a Dental Hygienist at CFB Kingston, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces. Working alongside skilled dentists, you’ll be a part of a close-knit team focused on supporting the health, well-being, and readiness of Canada’s military members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scaling, root planning, curettage, polishing procedures, desensitizing agents, occlusal sealants and anti-cariogenic agents
• Provide oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counselling and smoking cessation
• Conduct periodontal examinations and record clinical findings
• Take digital radiographs
• Provide administrative support such as updating patient databases, scheduling programs, and maintaining patient records

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Registered and in good standing within the province of Ontario (CDHO)
• CPR Level C or BLS provider
• WHMIS Certification
