17528990 CANADA ASSOCIATION is a nonprofit organization focused on helping charities and community organizations through software development and technology projects while providing students and recent graduates with real-world industry experience.
We are seeking 4 Junior Software Developers. Students will work in a collaborative software development environment building and supporting real-world applications for nonprofits and community organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and test software applications as part of a development team
- Participate in Agile-style team meetings and project planning, both in-person and remote
- Work with databases, APIs, and web technologies
- Use GitHub for source control and collaboration
- Assist with debugging, testing, and documentation
- Contribute ideas and solutions during development
Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have experience from coursework or personal projects involving:
- C# , Java, C++, JavaScript
- SQL and database design
- Object-oriented programming
- Web development
- Git/GitHub
- Mainframe, COBOL, JCL
- Problem-solving and teamwork
Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
- Angular or React
- ASP.NET
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- Mobile development
- Cloud platforms
- UI/UX design
- JIRA
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility requirements:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of employment
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
