We are seeking AZ Truck Driver who will deliver loads from Kingston, ON and Smiths Falls, ON to customers located in Ontario and Quebec. Applicants must have a positive disposition and the ability to communicate well with co-workers, management, and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Inspects vehicle and trailer to ensure equipment is in proper operating condition.
- Secures and inspects load to ensure materials are properly secured.
- Operates truck/trailer combination to deliver material to various customers and locations in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintains appropriate driving records, logs and shipping documents.
- Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, MTO, and company rules, regulations and policies.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must provide a clean three-year driver’s abstract.
- Drivers should have five years of applicable experience, driving with a trailer.
- Must be in possession of a current and valid AZ license.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Wide load experience is an asset.
- Experience operating a crane truck is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to determine if a vehicle is properly loaded, to block, brace and tie down loads, and to manually load/unload.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to climb onto load, to work in a wide range of weather conditions, to lift 100 pounds, and be on duty for up to fourteen hours in a day.
