Odd One Out Hub Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator / Videographer to support the development of music videos and visual content for internationally recognized singer-songwriter Rabbi Shergill.
This role is ideal for a student or emerging professional interested in music videos, filmmaking, visual storytelling, content creation, digital media, and artist-focused creative work.
The successful candidate will help film and develop music video concepts, performance-based videos, behind-the-scenes material, rehearsal footage, recording-session content, and short-form digital content for online platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the filming and development of music videos and artist visual content
- Capture performance-based, documentary-style, rehearsal, recording, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Film high-quality vertical and horizontal content for music releases, social media, YouTube, and promotional use
- Assist with visual ideas, shot planning, mood references, and simple production coordination
- Organize and manage video footage
- Collaborate with artist management on creative direction and content planning
- Basic video editing skills are welcome
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, Music, Digital Arts, or a related field; students from different fields with strong independent video-making skills may be considered
- Strong interest in music videos, visual storytelling, and artist-centered content
- Experience with video production, photography, editing, or social media content is an asset
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation:
- $20–25 CAD per hour, depending on experience.
- Average commitment is approximately 3–5 hours per week initially. Schedule is flexible and may vary depending on filming sessions, rehearsals, recording sessions, performances, and project requirements.
Location:
Kingston, Ontario. Work will take place at various locations including recording sessions, rehearsals, performances, creative workspaces, and occasional remote work.
