Metal & Shingle Roofing Installer - All Around Roofing

We are seeking a skilled Metal & Shingle Roofing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in METAL and shingle roofing, light carpentry, with the ability to work effectively with hand tools and perform heavy lifting. As a Metal and Shingle Roofing Installer you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive high-quality workmanship that meets safety standards.

Duties:

• Install roofing materials such as metal exposed fastener panels and shingles according to specifications.
• Repair or replace damaged roofs and ensure proper sealing using caulking and other materials.
• Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete roofing projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the job site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in METAL and shingle roofing. NO LESS THAN 2 YEARS.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing roofs is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.

BONUS:

• Priority will be given to a person of whom has experience with various roofing materials as we offer shingle, metal, and flat (cold process no torch down) roofing.
• Owner is essentially looking for a right hand man who is willing and able to help with a variety of tasks.
• Previous experience installing siding (Vinyl, metal, composite), soffit, fascia, and eavestrough is essential.

Experience:

• METAL roofing installs : 2 years (required)
• Siding: 1 year (preferred)
• Soffit installation : 1 year (preferred)
• Fascia Installation : 1 year (preferred)
• Eavestrough installation: 1 year (preferred)
• Shingle Roofing Installation : 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Working at Heights Certificate (required)
• Class G Licence (preferred)
• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• WHMIS Certification (preferred)
