One of the most exciting leadership positions in the sector, this newly created position will be critical to Queen’s University maintaining and growing its capability to attract philanthropic funding at the principal gifts level and engaging powerfully with our alumni and non-alumni constituents globally.
- Queen’s University is one of Canada’s oldest and most distinctive institutions – a university known not just for academic excellence, but for the depth of connection its community feels. Our alumni are among the most loyal, most engaged, and most passionate in the country, and it is that extraordinary foundation on which our philanthropic ambitions are built.
- We are at an important moment with a new campaign on the horizon and a commitment to growing our principal gift ambition. This is an opportunity to evolve and deepen Queen's principal gift expertise, building capacity in complex gift conversations, strengthening a talented team, and applying your knowledge at a university with significant philanthropic potential.
- Working at the most senior levels across the University and globally, you will lead a team that delivers gifts that are truly transformational. Reporting to the Vice Principal (Advancement) and a member of her Leadership Team, you will lead our engagement with principal level prospects around the world and help shape and drive Queen’s next fundraising campaign.
- You will be a values-driven leader with extensive experience in successfully developing and overseeing institution-wide principal gift fundraising. Comfortable orchestrating a myriad of constituents, you will have a demonstrable record of building relationships and engaging with philanthropists and high net-worth individuals.
