Are you passionate about fostering creativity and inspiring young artists? King's Town School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Visual Arts Teacher to deliver a dynamic and engaging arts program for students in Grades 3 through 8.

  • At King's Town School, we believe the arts are an essential part of a child's education. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students develop their artistic skills, creative confidence, and appreciation for diverse artistic traditions and perspectives.
  • The successful candidate will create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment and deliver a program that introduces students to art theory, a variety of artistic techniques and media, and artistic traditions from different cultures, while accommodating a range of learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

      • Ontario College of Teachers certification.
      • Experience teaching Visual Arts to elementary-aged students.
      • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • This position is 14 hours per week and includes teaching time, preparation periods, and some student supervision during lunch and recess. It is a 0.37 FTE position with a salary range of $18,685-$19,610 depending on experience and qualifications.
  • There may be an opportunity to add additional hours/salary to this position, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications, availability, and the school's needs.
