Cleaning Technician – Driver Required - Handy Fairies

Handy Fairies Cleaning Services Corp. was founded in 2018 and serves clients throughout the Kingston region. Our goal is to build a strong long-term company where dependable people can develop from cleaning technicians into leaders and, eventually, people capable of managing clients, teams and areas of the business.

Handy Fairies Cleaning Services Corp. is a growing Kingston-area cleaning company providing residential, commercial and specialty cleaning services.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Cleaning Technician who has a valid driver’s licence and is comfortable driving to different job locations. This position may be a good fit for a student or recent graduate looking for steady work, flexible scheduling and an opportunity to grow into greater responsibility.

Role details:

• Location: Kingston, Ontario & surrounding area
• Employment: Part-Time / Full-Time opportunities
• Pay: $21–$28/hour + driver premium (+3 per hour) and performance opportunities

What You’ll Do

• Residential and commercial cleaning
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitizing
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
• Deep cleaning and move-in/move-out cleaning
• Use professional cleaning products, tools and equipment
• Travel between client locations
• Communicate with the office and team throughout the workday
• Complete assigned work efficiently and to Handy Fairies quality standards
• Take ownership of your assigned jobs and make sure the work is fully completed before leaving

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s licence required
• Comfortable driving between client locations
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Able to follow instructions and accept coaching
• Attention to detail
• Physically able to perform cleaning work
• Cleaning experience is an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate
• Having your own reliable vehicle is an asset.
