Trillium Health Care Products was founded in 1998 and is based in Brockville Ontario, however has been operating since 1956. Trillium has been a long time contract manufacturer of over-the-counter medication and personal care items in solid, semi-solid and liquid dosage forms. Trillium prides itself in being a top manufacturer and go-to producer of OTC in North America and community support member.
We are currently hiring for the role of Packaging Operator, who performs a combination of packaging line functions on automated, semi-automated and manual packaging lines to ensure expected product quality and process reliability according to packaging work order, standard operating procedures and production performance requirements. Work in a safe and cGMP compliant manner at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Supply packaging line with required materials and components
- Feed components to packaging equipment and processes
- Follow prescribed packaging instructions and procedures
- Manual or semi-manual assembly of packaging components
- Monitoring or operation of packaging equipment and machinery
- Palletization of finished goods
- Inspect finished product or in process products
- Finished goods pallet transfer/staging
- Bulk and packaging material reconciliation
- Cleaning of packaging line and/or machinery as per standard operating procedure requirements
- Assemble/disassemble equipment for cleaning and changeover.
- Accurately complete required Work Order documentation
- Other duties as required
- Observe all safety rules, practices, and procedures, in the performance of duties.
- Assist in quality and material reconciliation deviation investigations.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of work area.
- Responsible for understanding and accurately completing all packaging Work Order documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for completing training for the job responsibilities assigned and for ensuring those personal training records are up-to-date.
- Perform other duties as directed. If work is unavailable in the employee’s classification, other work will be assigned.
